I ran the marathon and wanted to let loose yesterday.

Damn. Really there was no room to dance at both places. The dance floor space is probably like 10% of the total night club square footage.

All these clubs care about are VIP tables. I guess they should because they make a killing on them.

Times have changed since my college club days.

Can't make money when someone is dancing, or so they think. I know a club promoter who actually told someone "who actually dances, like real dancing at a club". He said kids these days figure out how to dance in place and use it to "accidently" bump into a good looking person next to them and call that dancing...

When I went to clubs in the 90's, it was a real dance battle.

Other than that, the models in the tubs and behind the glass at Tao were ultra hot! Haha. Another change of the times.

They don't even have to "accidentally" bump into people any more.

There is an app and iPhone feature for that now where you can annonimously text/contact random people in a nearby radius over wifi or Bluetooth. I have gotten a couple of weird texts/pics at the airport recently.

Where is the fun in that? But again it is about money and not fun. Congrats for running, you should have had a better welcome than this. I would not go to one of those clubs if my life depended on it.

For a chance to stand next to the VIP area of Bret Michaels or Kim Kardashian.
