Does anyone know of any places where one could get a 3 month apartment in las vegas while being close to the strip? I don't have a car so i would like to either walk to the strip or take a bus to the strip. I have been in vegas many times before but only stayed at a hotel.

I hear about those extended stay places but i hear the rates are very high and not only that, the location are usually in shady areas. If thats the case, why dont ppl just rent a room off someone on craigslist for cheaper and in a good neighborhood?

From doing research it seems like the only option where one could get short term and it being close to the strip is the meridian condos?

I believe most leases in vegas apartments are usually 6 months and 3 months are rare? But if thats the case, are there apartment in vegas that are 3 month lease which are close to the strip by bus where its no longer 30 minute bus ride? I read that if you live in place that is close to the strip by walking distance and it isn't a high rise like vdara, then location is going to be bad. True or false? What about those high rises like allure? Im bit confused b/c i thought those condos were really nice but someone mention the neighborhood around the area is pretty bad. If thats the case, why would anyone rent a nice apartment there? I think someone said its near strastrophere?

I would want to go to bellagio, venetian, wynn, aria mainly for poker and sportsbetting.

Does anyone know if its possible get something like this that doesn't cost more than $1200 a month? I think meridian is the lowest cost condo where it fits my critieria but it require 6 month or 1 year lease which is more than i want as i want 3 month max. I mean there has to be apartment complexes in good area that is studio or 1 bedroom that can offer a 3 month lease that doesn't more than 1000 a month? I heard about spring mountain/chinatown as those location?

Thank you.
