What is it that they wanted that you find so unacceptable? They are trying to fill in their forms. They are not in the least interested in harassing you. Just want you to fix some flaw in the data they got from you.

Now if they are demanding the intimate details of your sex life...different story. But I don't think you ever found out what they wanted.

They have a job to do, just as you have at your job. Provided they have properly identified themselves as working for this program, and you can answer the questions, they will be on their way and so will you.

Put up a NO SOLICITING sign. I work from home and most times don't mind doing the survey thing (never inside the house though). I had to put up the sign because of so many random survey people and Jehovahs whitnesses. Ugh.

There are large windows and in the office you see me sitting at a desk with a computer and headset. Why would you knock? smh

My best friend had a beautiful fountain in her front yard / courtyard. It had a Wiccan pentagram (not to be confused with the silly satanist pentagram) on it. It scared off most of the solicitors, and especially the missionaries.

What does SMH stand for?

I don't know about census people but solicitors have been out in full force-just in time for Christmas. I printed out a pretty good no soliciting sign and put it on the door. I love the reaction my camera catches after they read it.
