I lived there for only 8 months. In that time there were 5 stabbings and 3 murders on my block alone. Vegas is nothing but a glass house, so fragile, spellin i know, that it would take another attack like 9/11 to bury it, I hope, been here for 4 going on 5 years and have a family, my wife and one girl, I quickly realized after my first week here this was a very bad decision on my part, my likes it because it helps w/ her allergies, whatever, tops in unemployment, forcloseurs, spellin again, if you do not have money or know someone it is very, i mean very hard to make a living, why would you want to come and **** away your hard earned money to casinos that make billions, yes billions, if you want to gamble go to the Indian reservations and give them your money, hell thats the least we americans can do for them after our forfathers tryied to wipe them off the face of the earth. Let me give you all some numbers to think about, in the one are I work in we throw out between 500 to 1000 pounds of food a day, this is just one restaurant in one shift, an 8 hr shift.
