Probably any pawn shop, but at a big markup.

If you just want gold, and don't care about "collector" value, buy online. I don't buy gold, but I do buy silver, and I typically get it from apmex.com. Their premiums are reasonable (at least on silver), and shipping isn't too bad. I'm at a level with them now where I pay a $10 flat rate for any order. I think it's usually $25.

If you want collector coins (e.g. eagles and whatnot), you might want to check out Sahara Coins. I kind of got out of coin collecting before I moved here, but as far as I know, they're one of the bigger coin shops in town. Pawn shops will have some, too, but you better know your stuff if you don't want to get either ripped off or kicked out of the store for insulting them with a lowball offer.

If you are looking for numismatic (graded, collector coins) gold coins, suggest you locate industry
recognized coin shops. If bullion (no rare coin value) coins are your interest, there are more choices,
in addition to coin stores, pawn shops and gun shows are sources. In any event, be certain what
you are purchasing is genuine (yes, there are fakes), and the premium (ideally 5%-8% above the
spot price) is reasonable. Unless you have an aversion to shopping recognized on-line dealers, or
simply want to "pay and go", online usually has lower, more competitive prices. There are no less
than a half dozen nationally advertised dealers advertising on TV daily. Good luck!

Forgot the name but it's a little far down on Sahara, in the plaza with the beachbody offices. My dad buys his gold coins from there. Actually I think it's called Sahara Coins or something like that :0
