I'm up in NY and my main AC repair guy is in Detroit...have a tenant whose AC is not kicking below 80...anyone know a good, CHEAP AC repair guy who works on the side for a fraction of the price?

I know a guy that charged me 1100 to replace a compressor on an A/C unit recently, not sure if that's the greatest price for labor+parts but I've used him several times in the past and he's probably cheaper than Air Wizards(I used them once before). You wont find cheap during this heatwave or even during a normal summer. Dont be "that" landlord. Kick in a few extra bucks and get the problem solved.

WOW. With record heat and deaths occurring related to the heat you are HOPING to fix AC today or TOMORROW. You are also looking for cheap when demand for service is high, good luck. These businesses have lots of overhead ( I have heard that before ) and have struggled years to build up their business just like you. Stop looking for cheap, think of your tenant and fix TODAY.
