I'm up in NY and my main AC repair guy is in Detroit...have a tenant whose AC is not kicking below 80...anyone know a good, CHEAP AC repair guy who works on the side for a fraction of the price?

I was taken twice in Vegas so far...$450 for a repair that needed no parts (10 min. labor....don't use Air Wizards off of Craiglist...monster rip off)...also property manager had a guy fix a thermostat for $350...(until I met the current guy who is away right now)

Just post or send me a pm...hoping to get a tenant's AC fixed cheaply today or tomorrow...if his work is good, have many other properties to do work on eventually.

I know a guy that charged me 1100 to replace a compressor on an A/C unit recently, not sure if that's the greatest price for labor+parts but I've used him several times in the past and he's probably cheaper than Air Wizards(I used them once before). I can give you his number if you like, direct message me if you want his info.

You wont find cheap during this heatwave or even during a normal summer. Dont be "that" landlord. Kick in a few extra bucks and get the problem solved.

WOW. With record heat and deaths occurring related to the heat you are HOPING to fix AC today or TOMORROW. You are also looking for cheap when demand for service is high, good luck. These businesses have lots of overhead ( I have heard that before ) and have struggled years to build up their business just like you. Stop looking for cheap, think of your tenant and fix TODAY.

If you want "cheap" then you might as well pick someone up in front of Lowes, Home Depot or Star Nursery.

Just cruise by and ask "Who has Air Conditioning experience?"

Or

"Que tiene aire acondicionado experiencia"

Get a home warranty-- definitely worth it when the air goes out

Home warranty usually does not cover major repairs of the A/C system.

Why not just check with your guy in Detroit for a referral? He should know other people who can help you out.

If you want quality oats, you need to be prepared to pay a fair price.

On the other hand, if you're willing to settle for oats that have all ready gone through a horse....
