anyone see that automatic shotgun on future weapons on the military channel ?

YouTube - Automatic shotgun this would be the ultimate anti scorpion/rattle snake/boom car/bobcat shotgun !!

but to be serious, shouldnt block wallks and fences be enough to stop the bobcats from coming in ?

Any of the cats and coyotes for that matter can handle a six foot wall with ease. Probably the cats can do an eight foot wall. Watched a neighbor's Cheetah that had gotten loose and was toying with his owner. Did a six foot wall from a standing start without touching it.

The coyotes generally do not come over the walls though they do patrol the streets. They have learned that on the other side of a wall may be a pit bull or two.

Actually the cheetah and two rotties would be an interesting battle. The cheetah had no claws but he had all his teeth. Weighed around 50 lbs.

I suspect one Rottie would not have been a problem for him. But two would have made an interesting contest. I suspect though he would have simply declined combat and he is far to fast for a rottie to get his jaws on.

We have a middle sized cat around here who likes to take on dogs...any dog. I suspect he will screw up one of these days and end up dead. Has a simple approach...attacks. Bites scratches and then runs. Apparently happened a few times particularly involving dogs on leashes. Comes out of the bush...whacks them good and runs away. I saw him blind side a neighborhood pit bull something awful. And it was all over in 3 or 4 seconds. Dog was not really hurt but he was bleeding a good bit and had a long rake down one side that probably left a scar.

this whole post changed my view on cats haha yea i bet my rotts are waaay too slow for a cheetah. especially since theyre both over 150 lbs. but i have to give it to them, they arent scared of anything. although they can be intimidating they are definitely loyal. and i love them.

and btw, where did this cheetah come from ?? id be loading my shotgun if i ever saw one near my place. (which i doubt lol)

If people kept their pets indoors, they wouldn't get eaten by bobcats.
