hello all. we have a 98 supra twin turbo that needs to the turbine to be replaced. most likely were looking for a single enlarged turbine either HKS brand or garrets. nothing fancy just something to get it running like stock again (with a kick !) anyone know of any places that are certified dealerships of HKS or garrets parts ? thanks for the info !

and no we dont condone street racing. we learned our lesson here in cali.
it just would be nice to get that car running again. thanks again !

Try the Speeday. There is a lot of shop over there and someone might be able to point you in the correct direction. I know Nevarez Racing is very popular and they might know someone who works on Supras.

The racetrack where there is a Drag Strip and Circle track. Las Vegas Motor Speedway? there is a bunch of shops there. If you work on your own cars, then why dont you just order the parts online? probably get a better deal. Or buy the parts from CA where most of the better shops can be found selling import aftermarket parts. You can always use a dyno tune after you install that single turbo and there are plenty of shops that can do a dyno tune with your software or theirs.

EDIT* no hks dealers in nevada im sure ill find one tho if i ask around at that speedway. oh and about ordering parts online haha bad experiences. if possible, want to pick them myself. but i guess if i have to, i have to.

anyone else into performance tuning their own cars and such ? it would be nice to have a meet or something. doesnt matter whether domestic or import. i dont like the whole import vs domestic scene.

I'm into Mustangs myself at the moment. I have a 2006 GT with mods. I use to have a blown 02 SS camaro and a 96' Vette procharged too.

If your into drag racing...79-93 fox bodies are very common because of low curb weight to HP ratio. The are also very economical to build and parts are abundant. I know of a few guys that run in the 8's with Fox body mustangs.

8's because these guys are on 104 Octane + Spray + Sticky Slicks + Trans Brake. You can get those cars to the 2500 lbs range gutted. Add a 500HP motor + 200 Shot of spray and you'll be in the 8s range. These are not street cars btw, most of those guys will do 10s some little quicker some slower.
