I have one in my kitchen and I LOVE it. It's not very close to the stove cause my kitchen is pretty big. It's actually situated over the sink which is in the island. Nice breeze when I'm loading the dishwasher!

Yikes. And I though my chores sucked as a kid.

I love my ceiling fans, but there is no way I'd put one in the kitchen. They are wonderful in bedrooms and living rooms though.
