any good ramen houses here in las vegas ? ive had ramen at sushi roku and it tasted bad. the kind of ramen houses im looking for are the small establishments or "hole in the wall" places. ive tried togoshi ramen in e. twain ave. and it was just ok. anyways thanks for the tips !

btw, ramen is an excellent choice for a quick hot meal !

Last time I ate at a Ramen house was in Japan. Are there any in the states?
I usually get the fresher variety from the Japanese grocery.

My fondest memory of the ramen house in Japan was that when you were done they just dumped it on the floor behind the counter and hosed it down the drain!! Of course this was 21 years ago, and I am sure it is not practiced anymore, but as a teenager I found it quite funny!! My little brother contemplated trying that at home!!

Going along with the OP, what are some good suggestions for some Japanese restaurants. I'm not talking sushi, they are all over the place, but authentic Japanese food. Same goes for Korean BBQ?

i havent really seen any authentic japanese restaurants here. if theres a musashi, then id go there. i thought it was pretty good just a bit too pricey for tempura. (which btw is really good at musashi !) as for korean bbq, theres a place called korean bbq haha really good food and their phad tai (spelling) is awesome. theres a lot here in socal and i have yet to see one here in lv. if there is one, by all means go there ! really good !

My favorite is Pho.. or (fuh) as it is pronounced. I've had ramen before in a place in San Francisco and it was awesome.
