Hello, so I emailed some real estate agents regarding some properties and NOT one has responded. I wrote a while ago about wanting to move to LV but we have decided to just buy for now and rent out until we decide on a date to move. So please tell me if the market is booming and real estate agents are so busy.

TIA!

The market is tight which means places are being snatched up real quick. I would stick to the nationally known real estate agent sites at this point. fill out the forms they have on the site asking for your information and explain your situation. It is hard for them to respond to something 1 year out. They can send you a good list of places similar to what you are looking for and keep updating it but most places you see now will not be available. Plan on coming out here to see for your self and meet the Agent so they can take you around and show you what it is like. That as the way I did it I stayed off the strip and rented a car. Having a good Agent is the key.

There is about one month of inventory because of various reasons that different people emphasize depending on their POV. Go to this thread and read about the tribulations of the greater Las Vegas Real Estate buyers like me. Short sales are becoming more popular but be prepared to wait, and wait, and wait with no communication at all whether the damn thing is going to happen.
