Hey all,
Going to be getting married in about a year and a half and we want to do a destination wedding in Vegas. Only problem is, neither of us have been there for to long and never for a wedding so kinda drawing a blank as to where to start our search for a venue.
First, she really wants a waterfall wedding, I'm talking an actual waterfall not just a waterwall (glass wall with water running down it). Needs to be able to have about 20 to 30 people in a sitting/standing/Handicap arrangement and preferably outdoors. Looking for an evening ceremony in late May.
Second, need to be able to bring our own photographer. This is a must even if it means an extra fee.
Looking at a budget of about 5k for the wedding.
Something similar to this

For the reception will be a small affair and would prefer not to far from the wedding site but understandable to have to travel a bit. Plan on renting a bus to transport everyone there and back to hotels.
Prefer to keep this under 3k.
Cake, decorations and preferable music. Either buffet or sit-down dinner style is fine. Open bar would be nice and must have a dance floor as she absolutely wants a daddy/daughter dance.
Found one place that I really like but the cost is a bit much for my taste right now price is a little high and a bit large for the gathering we are expecting. But would like something similar.

Sounds like you need a local wedding planner. There are plenty of them, from a husband and wife team that plans, officiates, and plays the music, (I went to wedding they did and it was very nice, but don't remember their names) to larger companies that will take care of every detail. After all, weddings are a major industry here. Try Googling wedding planners Las Vegas. I did:Google

Don't forget to ask for a list of customers and don't hesitate to call them to ask if they were satisfied with the service before you give anyone any money up front. As much as I dislike the BBB I hate to say this, but maybe you should call them too.
