I'm sure this has been done before...but I want new current info. I'm tired of eating out at the same old places. You know the typical places that you see in each side of town. I'm looking for really cool places to eat that are really good. I do prefer not needing a gun for protection or my lysol wipes to wipe things down. Share your favorite thing to order.

Price point?

My favorite places are (in no particular order), the lunch counter at Market 168, Bouchon, Andre's, B&B, Hong Kong Dim Sum, Sterling Brunch, the bahn-mi joint in Chinatown Plaza, the Thai joint at Sunset and 95. I'm also meaning to try Gordon Ramsay's new place at Paris.

No price point in particular but I'm kind of a frugal person in general so less is better on the average! I usually save pricier places for special occasions.

I'm just tired of the places I've been. Nice list and thanks for the contribution. I was starting think maybe I might have to go hungry or somethin'!

I've got to find Chinatown Plaza when I am there in the fall. My friend and I are always ready for Asian food.

That's sad...The East side is awesome! Oh, perhaps I'm a little impartial. There's quite a few of us on this site with properties in South Nellis area..:-) In answer to OP's question, I just can't get enough of Binion's Steakhouse. You go up a glass elevator to a very clean old-time atmosphere. Price is good, food is excellence, service is awesome and the view is pretty nice too.

I haven't eaten there since the renovation. But I always loved eating there when I did. Some of their side dishes were a little "meh." But they did steaks and creamed spinach well. Least expensive carefully-prepared USDA prime steaks in the valley.

I'll have to go back soon.

@MSchu? What does the east side have to do with anything? All but one of the restaurants listed so far are on the Strip, on the west side, or downtown.
