I call it "direct deposit". As a local, I set a $100 limit if I ever went out with friends and it was rare if it lasted me more than 15 mins. The most time I would get out of any activity was to play the penny slots at 1 cent for 30 lines which was 30 cents a spin.

I know someone who does exactly the same ($100 limit), they also carry a stamped, self-addressed envelope and should they be lucky enough to win they immediately cash out and put the money in the envelope seal it and drop it in a mail box.

If you want to increase your chances and maybe win some $$ please educate your self about the payoffs and % of payback on the slot machines. Choices to be made are do you bet low or go full limit. How to play progressives and etc. Many people do not educate them selves or even look at the pay table on a slot machine. They just get memorized by the lights and now videos of the machine. Many newer machines do not pay much unless you hit a bonus round and then that is iffy on the play back. I am only addressing slots. I find the pay line machines are better but it takes some knowledge to play them correct. I suggest to read some of Jeans Scotts books and read her web site she did not become the Queen of Comps by just guessing. She has great info on VP also. Good luck!!

I have won so much playing blackjack it is not even funny. Since moving to Vegas I have lost it
I have 2 homes so they send me the out of state comps for free suites and stuff. July 4th I lost my limit and asked my casino host at the Red Rock (close to my house) to comp my room charges (minimal) They refused.
Big Mistake, Big, Big Mistake
Not going back to that cheap arse place I can loose money anywhere.
But yes, since buying a house in Vegas I have not been a winner. They must have my number. LOL

Any machine were the only user input is putting in money and pulling the lever is a waste of time. If you feel the need to play machine games, there is video poker that might be worthwhile, if you learn the read the pay table, and know the basic strategy for the game.
