I stopped making payments on my mortgage and now I'm going to act surprised when the bank takes my house.

The 99% label must be be synonymous with victim, helpless, and/or deficient.

Can't agree with this. There is a subset of the 99% that wants to game the system. There is also a very large subset of the 1% that wants to game the system. The problem is "gaming the system."

If you would like to read the best article I've read about the 99%/1% schism, read Stephen King's "Tax Me for F---'s Sake." Not only is it the best argument about how I feel about America right now, it is also quite entertaining.

And here I am thinking the 99% was the normal, working class, people who just want a honest day's work for a honest day's pay, and a place to live and raise a family.

I never realized the 99% are lazy, swindling, play the system, not do there share.

Where am I?

“Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious books. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders. Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations. But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it.”

In The Emperor's New Clothes, the boy cried, "The emperor is completely naked" and everyone hears him but no one cares. The parade marches on, an increasingly contrived and ruinous spectacle that no one, not even its leaders, truly believes in.

At what point will sight become insight?

The maxim of relevance is violated by intransparent euphemisms.
