The rooms that I have received at Sam's Town have been pretty decent. I like the rooms that overlook the interior.

As for safety, you will have no problems on the property as patrols are frequent. The area is a bit rougher BUT should not be a problem with a vehicle.

Personally, I would prefer to look at Sunset Station in Henderson.

Eastside Cannery is less than a mile from Sam's Town, is MUCH newer and the rooms are much nicer. And it's the same price per night. As low as $40 per night.

If you stay there, I'll wave on my way home from work.

Rooms overlooking the atrium at Sam's Town are a LOT nicer than the tower rooms. Atrium rooms are also usually at least $30 more per night. For the most part, staff at Sam's Town are very good. Food is meh.

I have not see the rooms at Eastside Cannery, but the casino is nice. It's newer, brighter, and cleaner than ST. I would not be surprised if the rooms are better, too. But price wise, EC is usually higher than ST.
