Instead of hijacking the other thread here, list your top 3 most favorite and least favorite casinos (not to include the hotel part of them) and why they are.

Most favorite:

1. Flamingo-I love the vibe, I love all things tropical and coconut smelling.

2. Venetian-love the gondolas and the valet singers and just the whole scenery.

3. NYNY-I just think the street set up is so cute!

Least favorite:

1. MGM-boring

2. TI- boring

3. Riviera-stinks

Note: I haven't been in them all...still a work in progress, but I have been in most.

Most favorite:

1. MGM- They have my favorite bar, the Centrifuge

2. NYNY- I have friends who are dealers there, and I like the games they have.

3. Planet Hollywood- I am sure it is pretty obvious. I am a guy.

Least favorite.

I will just say any casino downtown. I do not like any of them.

On the GN...do you mean a sardine can because it is always full? I have been there quite a few times and EVERY time there is no one in the pool. Not many in the pool area either. But, maybe it was off season?

MGM-Spent so much time in here that it just grew on me. Like the lay out. Lots to see and do here.
City Center-Very new, Very modern, Like the decor, (same with Cosmo)
Venetian-Had a lot of family and friends that worked here so I always received hook-ups and specials. Some of the best night clubs on the strip are in here also.

Riviera- Stinks, old, crusty, smokey...
Hooters- Lame, small, food sucks, nothing special...
Dottys- Does this count? All Dotty Casinos smell funny. Something like smoke, sausage, sage, fresh cut wood and puke all mixed together.

3 likes Orleans lots happening there. NY NY good juice on the craps table. I am enjoying the Station casinos lots of locals good people to chat with.
3 least liked. Tropicana no spirit in the players. Luxor hard to get around the place and Excalaber too many kids running around but a good poker room.

Haven't been to the very newest ones, but of those I have been in:

Favorite: Flamingo, it is just the old feeling of days gone by, plus I usually do well at the slots.

The Four Queen's: old but there is something special about the downtown area and the Fremont Experience.

NY/NY: the employees are friendly and the set up is just so clever.

Least favorites: MGM: never seen hardly anymore smile and it has no personality

Luxor: it is just weird. Never seems crowded, too quiet, not enough activity

Monte Carlo: not a positive thing to say about it.

I do have to add more: Riviera and Circus, Circus; they are just dirty and gross.

The Riviera and Circus Circus are in desperate need of renovation, Nita. I totally agree. They didn't always look so shabby.
