This is our first purchase in the US and things are a little different. I just received a package from a Westcor Land Title Insurance company which is a "Homeowner's Policy of Title Insurance". The fee is showing on our disbursement statement. It has a Schedule "A" - Date of Policy. I don't remember signing anything for this so I assume it is automatically done when you buy something and it goes through Nevada Title Office. Is this paperwork something that is just a one-time thing? Do I just file this and ignore it now or is there something annually I have to do with this? Thanks.

It is a one time fee to cover you if anything comes up down the road.
It is also becoming more common in Canada as we purchased it when we bought a new house here a couple of years ago.
