Hey, anybody else in here ate at "Freed's" in Henderson?

My girlfriend and I are here temporarily and came across that bakery while driving in henderson. I saw so many people in it, I had to stop to see what the commotion was about.

They have DELICIOUS food.

I'm a Junior's cheesecake ONLY type of person but it's the best cheesecake I've had nationally outside of Juniors. They did a great job!

Also had the Lemon Rasberry cake and it was 2AMAZING!

Anyone else ate here?

Do they have good pastries, French-style preferred? I mean true flaky pastry dough, not the bland, bread-style that passes for pastry these days.

Yes, they have some things for everyone.

It's right off the xit where you see the Wal-mart and Sams' sign ... and in the same parking lot as the Upscale Target /Super store ...

Bad directions i know but i was lost when i found it lol

It's on S. Eastern, just south of Silverado Ranch.

If you need a large cake for a group, they make the best in the Valley. Wish when they moved they had gone northwest instead of south.

Have you been to Patisserie Manon on W. Charleston? Pretty darn good.

My wife's cousin lives in the Silverado Ranch area not far from the bakery and raves about the place. Although I haven't been to the bakery itself, I have tasted some of their delectable baked goods that her cousin brought home.

Methinks Fleming's Danish Bakery on Water Street in downtown Henderson is as delicious as it gets in Vegas. Everything (cakes, pastries, cookies fresh bread and rools) baked fresh from scratch and more than good enough to keep all of my European friends happy.

I have tried their individual items...they do a VERY good job. It's just that getting there when I have a pastry jones from where I live doubles the cost of the food since I am no longer doing the Costco thing.
