Any recommendations on who pays the most per ounce in Las Vegas? I know jewelry will only be valued for its gold content, but that's ok.

As I write this, the gold spot price is $1,850/ounce. I'd like to get as close to that valuation as possible. If anybody says "Goldline" or "Cash-4-Gold", your posting privileges are revoked!

I think that price is for 24K gold. Most jewelry is not 24K so the price per ounce will be less.

I think.

Obviously, they compensate for the gold content of the jewelry, but I'm asking if anybody knows of a place that comes closest to spot price.

I sincerely doubt it.

Try searching Las Vegas forum for "gold". I think this question has been asked and answered a couple of times recently.

Good luck,
Croce

Default I had a good experience with

Jewelry Trends at Eastern and Horizon Ridge, just behind and in the same building as the dry cleaner. (Smith's shopping center)

Keep your gold. There's a reason its going up, and it ain't no bubble. I bet the average American owns less gold than ever today. The stupid plebs are selling their gold (below market) to jewelers, or those scam companies like cash4gold.

When you see people posting 'how can I buy gold on credit?' on this forum, its time to sell.

Don't worry, I'm not selling right now, but I want references for a place that offers fair prices. I think the parabolic move is going to end sometime and I want to be ready.

That reminds me...

I need to buy one of those pure gold bars so I can be ready for when/if the American Dollar drops excessively.
