So an old friend from high school days and I have always kept in touch. She called last night and we got talking about my pending move to Las Vegas. She let me know that her step-son lives there now. In fact she and her husband went to visit and meet their new grand-baby in June.
Oh, and she played a Keno ticket at the Orleans while there and hit for
$30,000.
When first telling me, she said,
"I won 30." I said, "30 dollars?" she said "no, $30,000."

She had decided to only gamble $40 away and then stop. She had spent $30 when she hit the $30,000 on a three dollar ticket.
How's that for beginners luck!

Well there can be strategy in Keno... Like duplicating the Keno's random number generator to accurately predict the hits.

That's what I said too. HA She used a combination of family birth dates. They decided to use the money to enhance their vacation so they gave each of their children money to burn, etc etc. And when they got home, I think they bought another used car. I have no idea how to play Keno, but when I was in Las Vegas with my then husband, years ago, we were staying with his aunt, who had won $52,000 on Keno the day before we arrived. When I asked her what Keno was, she said it's pretty much like Bingo and Lotto combined.
