I dont go often because Im always busy(work/family) but I make it a point of going every chance I get which is usually about once a month. Whats the point in living in Vegas if you dont at least visit the main attraction?

I go for concerts. Although most of the shows that interest me are at locals casinos. So, I go to strip casinos (usually the MGM Grand arena) perhaps once or twice a month.

We go maybe six or eight times a year to shop, and maybe once a year for a show. Now and then we have visitors and always take them there. We go to locals casinos like Red Rock or Santa Fe more often, and that is usually for a movie, and sometimes dinner.

Hardly ever, I don't even drive near there if I can help it, and rarely do I ever need anything on the west side of town. I haven't been in a "strip" casino since 2002 (cant even keep track of who's open & closed and whats building here & there). Live near Sunset Station and Henderson has got most everything I need. The commute to work is usually a drive up Nellis to Craig to the yard.

The only time I go to the Strip is when I have guests from out of town.

Beyond poker, we'll go to the strip for a date every couple months. The Bellagio fountains never get old, we'll usually go after a nice dinner.

Unlike the OP, I've never had a problem with disturbances on the strip. I'm careful to stay in public, well-lit areas & it's been fine. Biggest annoyance is generally the gridlock on the strip (the few times I have to drive it) along with the mass of tourists who cross intersections against traffic lights & so forth - so I drive defensively.

On average once per week, always for a meal, usually lunch, but we try to have dinner out at one fine dining restaurant on the strip each month.

I go there very occasionally if business takes me there or if I go to eat at The Steakhouse which is a place I like to eat at. Maybe 5 times a year. And I agree they could do a better job of cleaning it up and making sure the trash receptacles are kept up with. And get rid of the eyesore building skeletons that are abandoned. Raze them or finish them.

I haven't been living here that long, but in the eight or so months since I have, we only go when friends or relatives come to town. But, since it's Vegas, visitors seem to be a regular thing, so I'd say we're down there once a month.
