At least I'd save on airfare.

Speaking of doubling airfare, Spirit will begin service from Portland to Vegas this Sept. They announced on the news they were offering $9 flights. I raced to the computer to book another trip. $10 down $11 back. But wait, that doesn't include your checked bags, carry on bags or seats. All of which are at least $15 more. You have to pay extra for your seats. Prices vary and only a few available at that price. My $42 flights ended up costing $213. Still a very good deal, but nowhere near what you would have thought based on the news report.

I'm not complaining though. Two RT tickets for $213!

Now have more green to bring for Dyni.

After I booked the $42 flights, then the add-ons come up. Carry-on $15, checked bag $18 and I got to pick from a limited number of seats that started at $10 and went up from there.

I'll pee before we leave to save the $35. No guarantee the wife can make it two hours though.

I don't know why people don't just boycott those airlines that are ripping them off. Fly Southwest and don't get hassled, or drive.
