The issue is that Skyvue has all its permits and approvals...but no financing.

Caesar's has financing in place but no permits or approvals.

The articles projects that only one will be built.

I would bet on the guy with the financing.

My understanding is that these people have no money. I've seen dozens and dozens of big ideas fail in Las Vegas, from people who were just wishing. Caesars Palace, that has money, wants to build one of these too. Guess who is most likely to get the permits, not to mention investors who don't have a death wish? When I'm sitting on top of it taking pictures, that's when I'll believe it's a done deal. That is, if it doesn't catch wind and blow over, or an airplane doesn't crash into it, or if that Chinese made bearing doesn't seize up.

lets see....I seem to recall a BIGGG spalash in both the RJ and the SUN about a BIGGGG fancy hotel to be built on the old El Rancho Vegas Property.... All the money the guy had was for the Architects rendering...not even the plans....and you notice that hotel every time you drive by that corner.

Thats the Las Vegas Way...

b.t.w. that article was in 1965....and 1972,,,and 1976,,,and 1982,,,,and 19 ad ibfinitum

Default Vegas

Looks like it may be in a busy part of town. Isn't the new professional sports stadium complex going up across from Mandalay Bay?
