Would it be easy to get a job as an RN there?

I've heard complaints that a lot of Filipina Nurses are taking jobs for less money. It did seem like the nursing profession was invincible a few years ago....much more competitive now, and haven't heard the promises of 60K per year out of school lately.

Nurses are usually in demand here, and they do make a lot of money in the right place.

Are the administrators not concerned about the Nursing Testing/Licensing scandals in the Philippines?

Not if they have a state side license with reciprocity to Nevada and if they are willing to accept 5-$10 less an hour than local nurses. It's the bottom line everwhere now-a-days.

Once upon a time in El Paso, Texas a nurse from the Phillipines pushed Mylanta through an IV which resulted in the death of the patient. That hospital closed. The hospital was Vista Hills but, after this incident, earned the nickname "Vista Kills". Not too many patients wanted to go there after the story broke.

The average 18 yo here in Phoenix doesn't know the difference between .1, .01, .001 kind of scary in a hospital environment.
