Mine too. Lots of water seems to help. Oddly enough, coffee seems to open up my nose so I can breathe too.

Definately pre-City Center as the Boardwalk sign is at the bottom right.

And remember...you guys are always preaching that Las Vegas is so much more than just The Strip.

I don't see South Point or M south of everything. Past Mandalay Bay it looks pretty deserted. It seemed pretty old.

I don't mind the heat while out and about the valley, it's just upstairs that it really gets to me! I get tired of being drenched in sweat. That's all.

And before anyone pipes up with "you can always move." No we can't. Stuck in a home that is worth less than what we paid. We are not the type to just walk away. So we stay and tough it out.
I've never thought about the 2-story home in that way. Is that a non-issue for people living in a 1-story home? I wonder.

Yes, and it can also be a non-issue for people living in two-story houses if there is a separate HVAC unit for the upstairs portion of the house. Our house actually has 3 separate units: one for upstairs and then one for each half of our downstairs living space.

I agree. Our first home was a two story but only had one unit, it was difficult to regulate the AC, especially since we had vaulted ceilings.

The house we are in now has two units. One for upstairs and one for downstairs. No vaulted ceilings. Even though our current home is almost twice as big our AC bill is about the same. However we did put in a radiant barrier in our ceiling, insulated the garage, garage door, and also the inside walls.

I think I would consider camping out in the downstairs on some of those unbearably hot nights.

You got that right!!!!

Im from Zurich, Switzerland and lover your City :-)... For many reasons: Nice weather most of the time, lot of entertainment, 24H stores, the friendly people, food and the dessert itself. By the way I love to get the ketchup for free at MC Donalds... its 25cent for each here in Switzerland....;-).

All these positives reasons made my partner and I buying a Condo in lovely Henderson ....

WE LOVE VEGAS!!!!!!
Grüezi......I have to ask, did you mean dessert as in "food and dessert" like cakes and ice cream, or did you mean the desert, as in the climate?

Love the ketchup comment. That's one of the more interesting reasons I've heard for someone liking Vegas.

I am rearranging the furniture downstairs to try and squeeze my daybed in there somewhere. Right under one of the ceiling fans. Then I can be comfy* while my husband snores away in the oven upstairs.

*the cats will probably crowd me out though.
