I have Cox right now, and on FSW I can catch the Dodgers and Clippers games when they are on. If I switch to DirecTV, and get FSW, will I still be bale to watch the games? I remember reading a forum 4 years back when I first moved here that said they did.

Thanks KD! I have been debating whether or not to switch. Back in San Diego I had the Sleuth Channel, and I see that DirecTV has it!

If you move away from Cox you lose access to Padres home games which really aren't available anywhere else including the MLB pay package. However you pick up DBacks, Giants and A's games on the sports channels. So you really do pretty well with Direct TV if you like baseball. The rest of the sports don't matter, the area gets treated like an LA suburb for cable sports channels.
