Vegas to me seems like a very strange place for an Australian or a New-Zealander to end up. Vegas is on the other side of the planet not just physically, but socially and economically. Be interesting to know if there were. I'm not expecting to run into Nicole Kidman or Russel Crowe or anything just curious since I'll be there in march. Might even play a game of rugby or cricket if there's a team there!

I'm wondering too if there's any Dutchies there. There must be, cause like the Brits , Dutch people are everywhere.
I tried roaming around at the 99c stores, that's the most likely place to find em, since we're cheap bastards No luck so far yet.

Anyway, my advice to you is:

Look at pubs, I don't mean clubs or bars, but Irish pubs and such. And obviously the bbq restaurants

Love the advice! In the name of research, the pub I shall be! I did say research, not a higher education

Yes, Ozzy Osborne's tour often stops in Vegas and Kiwis are plentiful in the produce section in any grocery store. ;-)

Seriously though, Vegas is a very diverse city and I'm sure you'll find plenty of people from "down under"... some of them even have Thunder. (You'll get that joke when you get here)

I don't know what you mean by any of this, but LAS Vegas is a very international city. There are people here from probably every country on earth. I've met many Australians here. And, FYI, you just might run into Nicole Kidman or Russell Crowe as all the stars come here either to work or to be entertained. After all, LAS Vegas is the entertainment capital of the world with a population of 2 million. What are you expecting? That Las Vegas a small town in the outback full of country bumpkins?

I've never seen rugby played here, but I wouldn't be surprised if it is. I do know that there is a brand new cricket facility about two miles right out the road from our house.

I believe you misunderstood my post buzz. How you came to that conclusion I don't know. But here is what I mean ....LV is the polar opposite to where I come from. Which is funny because you could say Vegas is the polar opposite to where a lot of folk come from

You say LV is international? The entertainment capital of the world? Sin City Etc etc....you can only come to one conclusion about what I wrote if i am to say we are polar opposites.

May i ask where the new cricket place would be?
