More perfect headline might have been: THC - The Housing Crisis.

Many people thought about it the crashes. Minimally, there was an article in the NYTs in 1999 predicting the financial market crash. There was an article in the WSJ (pre-Murdoch) circa 2002 predicting Fannie and Freddie crashing due to billions of dollars in bad loans by both companies. Put the two predictions together and you get what we have - foreclosures, short sales, and people just wanting to sell to move to the next phase of their lives.

We knew in the early to mid 2000s the market would become minimally glutted with baby boomers trying to sell their homes.

Now, if the idiot right wing would just get over their massive need for control there's a large amount of money they could collect in taxes from pot growers. But the problem is that there's now a big business in jails - creating them and keeping them populated. Maybe jail business is more important than collecting taxes...

That is BS especially in these two ways.

#1 My mother was a minister who went into prisons and pretty much all violent crimes were done by people who used pot mixed with other poop.

#2 You legalize that in any way and insurance goes through the roof. The costs of having people high on pot causing incidents at work could skyrocket the costs of everything. Lawsuits through the roof as well as liability and workers compensation payments.

Pot heads are total losers anyway. Best we never legalize any of that BS IMO.

"...by people who used pot mixed with other poop." Yes, mixing BOOZE with other "poop" is called chemical abuse and booze is legal, last I checked.

You're not allowed to be intoxicated while at many businesses, so why do you think people are going to do pot at work? You're touting complete bull.

Potheads and boozeheads have problems. If you want to make a statement as generic as potheads are total losers, apply it evenly across the board.
