Better to have hope in your soul than soap in your hole.

I was thinking it sounded good until the following was referenced in the article, "the Paris Hilton economy". Anyone who says that in reference to any economy is clueless.

Things are clearly improving every quarter. Problem is people can't get the comparisons to 2007 numbers out of their heads. Until they do everything will seem miserable and no one will be in the mood to hire workers. The Sun and the RJ do a fantastic job of ignoring what's really going on in that the casino industry has laid off workers to pay off huge piles of debt. It really is that simple. Casinos are running at incredible efficiency levels compared to the past and its all been forced by the debt service. When private equity comes into an industry it has only one playbook and we have all seen it used to its max over the last 4 years.

How else do you clean a hole?
You need soap.
Gotta have soap.

I try to come to Las Vegas to help the economy as much as I can!

It seems like everyone staying at the casinos is from out of town so maybe when we all have more disposable income Las Vegas will get back on its feet.
