Isn't there a political forum in here? I suggest they go there. Or at least learn how to put punctuation in sentences and use spell check so we can understand what stockups is trying to say.

Bah, I could tell the poster is upset, perhaps depressed. We are having some tough times here. Perhaps some empathy?

I truly believe Vegas is going to bounce back hard.

Don't ever bet against Vegas, the house always wins :-)

I would hazard a guess that "Vegas" is marketing to the max. However, if people can't even feed their family or stay in their house, they sure can't afford to go to Vegas for a vacation. If they are on unemployment at about 1/2 what they were making (or even less) a trip to anywhere but the supermarket is out of the question. The overall economic situation is more to blame than any lack of marketing.

Although airlines sure aren't helping matters when they keep upping the ante almost monthly on baggage and other fees to where you feel like it's all one huge gouge on the consumer.

Empathy only goes so far for the people coming in here always posting negative things against our city.
