Question

Are you allowed to walk your dog on the Vegas strip during the day? I obviously don't want to walk a pet on the strip now with this heat, or at night when the strip is crowded and full of drunks (which may sometimes includes me). But all the times I've been to the strip I can't seem to recall if I saw people walking dogs or not...I have seen many other things though

I don't think I'll have to worry about my Great Dane getting stepped on.

Anyone know?

Of course you can. You just don't see it often because tourists usually don't bring their dogs. I live on the strip & walk my dogs often! Oh, my Dolly just HATES those nasty Bellagio fountains!

Thanks It wouldn't make too much sense if you could drink on the strip but not walk a dog. Besides, I have seen a lot of animals on two legs!

I saw a monkey on a leash last year on the strip.

I saw a dog being walked last time I was there. My Chihuahua's been to Vegas three times now but has never walked the Strip.

I used to rent a room right across the street from the Stratosphere. My roommate had two dogs, one being a pit bull and the other being a black lab. I was not working so I used to go to the strip every day. I took one of the dogs almost every time. Just be aware that people from other countries will freak out though, but it is completely legal. I took them both day and night.

Most of the people on Las Vegas Blvd are tourist and they usually do not bring dogs with them. That said I did see 2 women in the RV Park on the strip and they were walking a dog.
