Im heading out to LV in August for a month. Im driving from NY. I have been looking at extended stays like Homestead and Extended Stay Americas. I've found a few pretty good deals for 1 month not on the strip for around $1400-$1600 for the month. I just don't want to be stuck right in some ghetto, and finding out excactly where the ****ty spots are hard because it seems as if people pretty much say everywhere is bad, but I've narrowed it down to these 4 locations:

Extended Stay America, 4240 Boulder Highway 89121
1550 E. Flamingo Road 89119
4270 S. Vally View Blvd 89103
3045 S. Maryland Parkway 89109

Please, if anyone has any experience with these hotels or locations, and would be willing to share, I will forever be in your debt. I am bringing my girlfriend with me and I DO NOT wan't to put her in harms way, but I also have a budget so I cannot afford $2000 a month for just a regular hotel. A vacant house for a month would be cool too but I have no idea on how to make that happen either. Any help guys would be greatly appreciated!

I wouldn't stay on Boulder Hwy...The one on Maryland is OK, its across from the hospital and the Country Club is behind it, it is surrounded mainly by commercial, so I don't think much could really happen...The East Flamingo one is in a very good area, if I was you and had the choice out of all of those, I would stay at the one on East Flamingo, I'm very familiar with that one, its also across the street from the hospital and next to a grocery store and drug store...

My ranking...
1. East Flamingo
2. South Maryland
3. Boulder Hwy

I don't know much about the Valley View location...

Why don't you try Emerald Suites at Las Vegas Blvd. S. and Serene, that one and the Manor Suites at Las Vegas Blvd and Warm Springs are both very good and very safe, especially the Manor Suites, that would be my first choice...

I am very appreciative of your response, and I will definatley check into those. Like I said, I would need to be in the ballpark of $1400-$1600 so we will see. Thanks again!

If it were me, i'd switch that around to have the one on Valley View first, then the one on E.Flamingo, then Maryland Parkway.
The Valley view location is right near the Rio with The Orleans not far away. You are really close to the strip from there. And close to the Palms, and lots of businesses.

The one on E.Flamingo is close to UNLV which is a much older area, not the greatest.
