Hi all,

I am going to be in Las Vegas next week for a wedding. Just wondering if there is a good cheap place to pick up alcohol. The newlyweds are getting married at a private place, so it is my job to get the booze. One thing I would really like is a place that has Shiner Bock as, being from Canada, we dont get that good stuff up here.

Anyways, any recommendations would be great!

Thanks!

Google Lee's Discount Liquor. Then call a convenient store and see if they have wnat you want. They are both the least expensive and the best stocked in town.

Probably Lee's Liquors would be as cheep as anybody and there are 14 locations. They have all kinds of beer, and I have seen Shiner Bock in a lot of places in town besides theirs. Lee's Discount Liquor

You are aware that the U.S. and Canada are the only countries in the world that can't make decent beer???? Lee's, and just about everyone else around here, has beer from all over the world, any of which puts Shiner Bock to shame, although it is the best little beer house in Texas.

This new place in Boca Park Shopping Center, Total Wine, has every alcoholic beverage known to man, so don't let the name fool you. And if you don't see what you want there's a brand new Lee's Liquors in the same center. Total Wine & More

WOW. 8,000 wines, 2,000 spirits, 1,000 beers.

Are there smaller than 12oz bottles or cans of corona beer? Some is asking for it for me, but not know where to buy or if they exist.

I would backup all the claims here for Lee's. They are easily the best.

It's called Coronita...seven ounce glass bottles. Hard to find in a store, at least here in MI.

Have to agree. I can only surmise that those recommending Lee's have not been to Total Wine yet. And if they have, I can't understand how they could recommend Lee's over TW other than for the convenience of its multiple locations.

Coincidentally, I happened to be in a Lee's right around the time that Total Wine had opened. The Lee's store staff was in the process of lowering their prices to match Total Wine's advertised prices and the manager was reprogramming the register to stop charging extra for the use of credit cards. I think that speaks for itself.

The other reason I love Total Wine is that they have a great walk-in humidor with many fine cigars, all much cheaper than any other tobacconist I've been to in Las Vegas.
