Well finally made it!

I am looking for a nice little bar to sit and relax. (preferably in the late morning / early afternoon)

I like to sit out on the deck and drink espresso and a couple of beers... anyplace like that here?

(in the green valley area)

Lots of them around but they are pretty quiet in the summer heat. You sure you'll be relaxed when its over 100? Most people prefer their outdoor drinking in the summer to be near a pool.

There are some interesting choices on Eastern near the 215. Just south of the 215 is the Roadrunner which has an enclosed patio which gets very popular when the weather is nice. Going north there is a place called the Half Shell, just after you pass Coronado Center Dr. It has a rooftop bar with one of the best views of Vegas. I believe there are other options on and around Horizon Ridge Pkwy, all taking advantage of the views. Depending on which part of GV you live in these should all be within 3-5 miles.

Love the Half Shell patio! The Blue Crab Nachos are pretty good too! Enjoy!

Sorry just read this and realized I wrote the directions wrong, the Roadrunner is just north of the 215 and the Half Shell is south of the 215 on Eastern. I used to live in Silverado Ranch and going that way "felt" north, even though it was south

Not quite what you are looking for, but Executive Airport in Henderson has a little bar upstairs where you can watch the planes take off and land. Also free Wi Fi. Only bummer is, I think they close at 4 during the week.
