Was told to move clock one hour ahead tomorrow eve. Correct or incorrect? If so, why, doesn't spring officially begin 'til the 20th or so? Moved from AZ so this daylight savings thing is all new for me...

<Rant on> AZ got it right. I don't know why they even bother with standard time any longer, since they've shortened it to barely four months. It just irks the daylights out of me....no pun intended. <rant off>

I am probably one of the few people here who really doesn't care one way or the other, and it has never been any issue at all for me. BUT I do love the thought that starting tomorrow night we will have another WONDERFUL hour of daylight in the evening.

I think they should quit monkeying (no pun intended) with the times. our furry friends still know when it's feeding time though, it is as if they have this clock inside of their heads. sure can't fool them.

are there not some areas, or the entire state of indiana which doesn't recognize this switching back and forth? southern indiana is very pretty in the spring and summer. quite humid though. w/tornadoes.

In the US, Arizona (with the exception of the Navajo Nation) and Hawaii do not observe Daylight Savings Time. Indiana started observing DST a few years ago. They use to partially observe it.
