Well, it has been very cold here, this season. Pretty gray, too. But I'm loving it! We have received a lot of snow for Knoxville. The official tally is 5.1 inches.

someone said according to farmer's almanac our area (northern deep south) is supposed to get the most snow THIS weekend. i couldn't find that info online however. but in the mountains it's possible - ober has a 60 inch base and i wonder what it will be come tuesday!

It is gonna be 60 today and the sun is shining bright but....winter warning for tonight saying we will possibly get 2" after midnight........what is that all about?

Hey! Happy Valentine's Day Pam and the rest of Knoxville, albeit belatedly.

What is that all about, indeed, painter. I love Knoxville's winters, but I am now officially sick of it. What kind of a ridiculous winter is this? It's 27 degrees, right now. It usually starts warming up at the beginning of March. Well, it better hurry up.

Our one consolation is if it is this cold down here, then man, it has got to be crazy brutal cold up north. Sheesh.
