I was looking at Knoxville on Wikipedia and saw that there was no link for the Old City. I'm moving soon and I was bored yesterday, so I decided to take some pictures and make a Wikipedia entry for the Old City. I thought some of you might find it interesting...

Love the pics, volsfan! I've been utilizing the old city exit off I-40 since they've shut down that other exit that goes down to the waterfront (I never can really figure out what exit it is, 386? A? B?). Of course, it's not quite as fast to get into the heart of UT this way, but it somewhat beats taking the Airport exit and merging down onto Kingston Pike.

17th street exit is a quicker route to UT.

What *is* the 17th St. Exit??? After Hall of Fame? Before 75 (or 275, whatever it is) merges off?
I'm really trying here... about to go hop in my car and cruise down I-40 to find it!

It says "17th Street" on the exit sign. I don't remember the exit number, but it's west of the I-40/I-275 interchange.
