Best suggestion is for you to look at Trip Advisor for restaurant recommendations.

Holy Land on Sutherland. You can't always go by where the locals eat - the locals here (especially in Seymour) love the chains and fast food. They won't pay for better quality.

Lots of local restaurants in downtown Knoxville and the bearden area. Ethnic restaurants are all over town but you'll find them on Sutherland ave and around downtown west blvd.

Are you wanting farm to table restaurants, or restaurants that are run by a family? What kind of food do you like?

Not too familiar with the Seymour restaurant scene. Yelp may be your best resource. Lots of local restaurants in Townsend. The best gourmet restaurant in the area IMO is Foothills milling company in Maryville.

Pete's in Knoxville for breakfast. Hot Rod's in Maryville for lunch or dinner.

Please do a search for previous threads on this same topic.

My daughter came down to Atlanta from Knoxville for a visit this weekend and brought me a vegan sandwich and salad from Tomato Head. Yum, yum. I wish there was one in my area. They aren't just vegan. Food is very fresh and delicious.
