GDude,
How cool. We are lucky to have you here!
Pam
BTW- Where'd you learn to speak German? Does your school offer German as a language to take for credit? You have plans to work in some capacity out of the country in the future?

[font="Lucida Sans Unicode"][color="Red"][b]Bebette, best of luck to you, I remember when my daughter had hers so I know how you feel. Let me know if we are still on for Fri night, we have to cancel 24 hrs before in order not to be charged.

Thanks!! I am taking a German Course at school. Plus I know German because my entire family is German. Last summer I was invited by the European Parliament- The British Parliament and the French and German Governments to study in Europe for 9 weeks but I couldnt because of Financial reasons. I have thought of moving to France or Germany when I get older. I think I will probably stay here but If I do move I can go and dont have to worry about translators or saying the wrong thing and get myself into trouble!

Gailli, though we had to miss Riverdance today, I feel confident that we will be able to make it to the show on Friday night! However, I'll let you know for sure tomorrow, so we can be sure to cancel with 24 hours notice!!

The box office manager at Riverdance was wonderful! The tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable, however when I called and explained about the surgery, she refunded the tickets in full. She said that since we had ordered the tickets online, that she couldn't refund the 'service charge', but I was so thrilled that we wouldn't lose total cost that I started crying! She could have easily said 'Sorry - no refunds'!! I pray that something good happens for that lady because she definitely has a good heart!

I'm so disappointed about missing the show, but after taking a shower this morning, it was obvious that I would not be able to go out today. My DH had to assist me quickly to the bed to lay down because I became very lightheaded and thought I would pass out! By the time we finally got the dressing changed and the drain tube hooked back up, I was absolutely exhausted!

I'm so accustomed to being the 'strong one' so it's tough for me to not be in control and to have to rely on DH to do so much for me!

Thanks again to everyone for your thoughts and prayers!!
