Not sure on the pay scale and about all areas, but as an example, Kingsport issued the largest number of building permits last quarter. I believe a lot of that is commercial building but there is residential building as well.

hello all .. im looking for technical high schools. My son is in an IT school and I would like for him to keep going to an IT school. Are there any in sullivan? He is going to 9th grade in September. I have been looking for homes in sullivan. Can anyone help. I would greatly appreciate it.

MSN had a list of the top 1300 highest rated high schools in the U.S. I did not not see a single school from the Tri-Cities area on the list.

I do not believe that there are any specifically technical schools; however, the high schools themselves have technical as well as college bound curriculums. You can always call the Sullivan County School District office and inquire.

Do you know what criteria were used to create the list? Did schools have to submit to be considered?

I do not know. I was looking at it on MSN right before calling it a night last night and now I can't find it again.

Dobyns-Bennett did make the list at 1229 of 1300.
