I would try asking on the military forum in the next grouping at the bottom. We lived in JC for years but now live in SE KS. The housing I believe is all on-post with most being newer housing. I worked on post and so did my husband and the Fort was nice compared to many. I always liked it.

The housing is located on post and no not most of it is new, the majority is actually old housing, some have been updated and some havent yet. The new housing is in Forsyth and they are 3 bedrooms and up. As for this post it defintely is NOT my favorite one, in fact it is my least favorite post. My husband has been in 17 years, so we have been all over the world. BUT I do like Kansas, just not this post. If you have any more questions feel free to send me a message.
