kcmo, I disagree with you a lot on this board, but I have to say you take nice photos. Are some of those taken from a helicopter, or how do you manage the aerial views?

Luzianne,

Yes, I think we are very different people. But no hard feelings .

Thanks for the comment, I love to photograph cities and have probably taken 100,000 photos in KC in the past few years alone. Mostly by just walking around the city or on bike and buses (without a body guard! ).

I also take many aerials from helicopters and airplanes.

I have also done this in every city in the country. I will fly into a city, like Miami, Detroit or Seattle and spend 2-3 days, just walking and driving around a city, sometimes I will get a chopper for aerials etc.

My kids love it. They get to ride in helicopters all the time and they love to travel now. My kids know their way around kc better than most adults and he can recognize most cities by their skylines.

So, I have passed on my love for the built urban environment to my kids!

So thank you and now we can get back to our fun little debates.

That's Loose Park.

Probably the most utilized urban park in the city. Very popular park. It's about 5 blocks south of the Plaza. I grew up across the street from that park!

^Across the street? Wow.
I love Loose Park. There's a house across Warnall from the park that's probably the most perfect color of yellow I've ever seen on a house. Too bad I can't paint my dull, lifeless vinyl.
Your photos really bring out the beauty of KC.. helps me remember what I love about the city.

yea, I was just in the neighborhood yesterday, it's just an amazing area (south plaza) . My father and I drove around and we talked about walking to Loose Park in the summer, suicide hill in the winter and the plaza lighting every year. Brought back a lot of memories.
