I appreciate the time you took on your photo thread, but it froze my computer two times because you posted too many pictures on one thread.
Therefore, if you wish to create a seperate photo thread break the number of pictures down by 1/3.
I have locked the photo thread for now because it just has way too many pictures. If you can you can reduce the number of pictures it has in it so that all of the members on the C/D forum can view them better.
Thanks
Plains10

My computer jammed on me too, and I have a DSL connection. But those are some fine photos of KC! During our trip to St. Joseph a week and a half ago, my wife and I didn't get to see any of Kansas City except for the airport, which is situated in a rural setting in the far northern end of the metro area. There will certainly be no shortage of things and places to see once we get moved back there!

If those pics can get subdivided, that would be great; I can really enjoy looking at them then!

KCI is not that rural. You should have been to the airport about 15-20 years ago! They built the airport in the middle of a cornfield back in the early 70s, and that has encouraged more sprawl over time. However, it has only been evident closer to the airport in the last 5-10 years. I prefer the rural areas of NW Missouri because I like those smaller towns, and they are not as crowded as Platte and Clay counties.

well, one problem is this site tries to resize all the photos even though it's only making them about 5% smaller.

Try this link. Can you view them on this forum?

Kansas City, Missouri A super HUGE photo thread of KCMO. - SkyscraperPage Forum

That link works. However, a good idea would be to place 20-30 of the best pictures into a new thread so it does not take quite as long to load. I do realize that C/D tries to resize all of the pictures, and that is why huge picture threads are not the best idea.

Just rural in comparison to most other major airports. Obviously I'm most familiar with Lambert Field in St. Louis, as well as San Francisco and Oakland.

This last trip to St. Joe with my wife allowed us to get off U.S. 36 and visit Jamesport and see an area of Missouri I've never been to before. It's quite nice, and will look even nicer once the spring season continues to unfold.

Back on topic--I'll definitely check out that link, kcmo! I have still not been able to spend any time in downtown KC or Swope Park or other stuff. So many things to see once we get relocated!
