Okay, earlier today a recruiter called. I know that she's a recruiter for a job I'm applying to out in Tampa. I missed the call, and she didn't leave a message. I tried calling back and didn't get an answer. Here's my question, do I just wait for the recruiter to call back, or should I leave a message on her voicemail?

I really want this job, it's basically the ideal position for me, and in a city that I would absolutely love. I don't want to blow it.

Yes, call her back and leave a message on her voicemail.

I was inclined to this, but it's 4:15 right now, I'll call back at around 9 tomorrow (maybe earlier). I'd hate to be the reason she gets home late tonight.

If she needs to get home she won't answer the phone or will tell you she needs to call you tomorrow. Call her.

Sorry about the missed call. For next time....

Have you considered getting a cell phone? Or using your cell as a tool?

When I am expecting an important call my cell phone is with me, turned on-and on vibrate if necessary to be polite.

As to your question-leave the VM. It shows your still interested and you will pursue a goal. Good Luck!
