Thank you. It went really well, although they spend 20 mins beating around the bush I was overqualified, and would leave as soon as I found employment elsewhere It seems like it's always a lose lose battle. I think I convinced them otherwise though we'll see once they verify my references.

How do you beat around the bush to that question? I really hope you said "no, this job is a great fit for me".

I hate that. Hopefully, you were able to convince them! Good luck.

You see, I hate that. You need a start somewhere. This overqualified crap is the reason why its hard to get a job these days.

Good luck to your interview. Read up on the company, prepare questions, etc.

I agree. Good luck to you. Drop us some hints how you got around the "overqualified" thing if you land the job.

Well my "over-qualification" was because I owned my own business quite successfully, in the same field they are in. I however, decided to give it up for personal reasons. I'd really enjoy having the time to take my wife out to dinner. As a young couple (22 & 23) in college, I think it's very important. Though we've been together since we were 11 years old I think that was the part I had to convince them with. If it weren't for that, i'd be 100% positive I landed the job. If so- it would be a blessing as that was the first job I applied/interviewed for!!!
