So I got a call back from one of the positions I interviewed for that I really want. This place also claims to do credit checks. Right now the HR person and I have been playing phone tag but I am at the edge of my seat!

Another question for you guys: I have not provided them with my SS# yet. Can employers check credit without this information? I've googled it but I read conflicting information.
