Hello All,

I m a single woman planning to move to Jacksonville, FL for work in next couple of weeks. I'll work around the Deerwood area and I m looking for a decent nieghborhood close to work (within 15 - 20 mins commute). I currently do not drive, so some place with public transportation.

Please suggest a few good neighbourhoods with good connectivity near Dearwood (I m flexible with the rent $$$)...

Thanks much for your advise

You'll find a lot of apartments in that area, as many folks start out there when they first move to Jacksonville. Search for "Baymeadows Apartments" and that should help you find something.

Since there is miniscule bus service, best to start with the bus schedules.

"Deerwood area" is pretty broad. Most of the area has essentially no bus service.

Plenty of very nice upscale apartments, condos, townhomes all over that area and depending on your actual work location, you might even be able to walk to work.
