Junk Removal Service in Jacksonville??? (real estate, coupon, how much)

I just moved in to a new home and the previous owners left a wooden swing set that has some larger plastic pieces with it. I need to have it hauled away and I just want someone else to do it. Besides 1-800 GOT JUNK, is there any other place around Jacksonville I can call that might be cheaper than $198? That's what GOT JUNK quoted me.

I had a coupon from JustJunk and I thought they were reasonable. Most of the charge is gonna be based on weight, since their trucks are weighed at the collection site. So, if you have a lot of stuff, be prepared to pay.

Hey fsquid-I stumbled on this post and I definitely remember seeing your appointment on the schedule. Thanks so much for thinking of us first for your junk removal needs. If memory serves you cancelled the appointment before the scheduled date and we never made it out to your home to give you a free estimate. You may have been given our list of prices over the phone but no price is set until we get onsite to see the "junk" and give you a free estimate. It would have to be a pretty big swingset to fall into our 1/4 truck price of $198. I'm glad on one hand you were able to get the old swing set removed but I wish we were the ones to remove it for you I hope you give us a chance in the future! Thanks.

EricBoyd - Our rates and most of our competitor's, including the company you mentioned, are based on volume rather than weight. Meaning the rates are based on how much space the junk takes up in the truck. Being a real estate agent if you ever have a need for our service please know we will beat any licensed and insured company's written estimate.

And Karla... I happen to love freecycle too. If anything can be reused or recycled it needs to be! In many cases if something needs to be removed and there are no recycling or donating options because it is in too rough of shape or just plain trash we can be a great option too.

Sorry to go on and on...Once I get started on this stuff it's hard for me to stop.
