This apartment is like living in a small 1-story house! Have been driving around getting some "necessary" things done and getting to know the area......our GPS sure is helping us there!
Even though it has been raining hard (at times) today, we are still happy that we made the move here! Now, to get jobs.
Glad you've arrived safely! Sounds like you're living off University or Southside (it's been a few months since I was in that area) Beach Villas? I remember scoping out the area for my son! Anyway - good luck getting settled in!

Dang I wish the forecasted weather for this week was more welcoming! Guess you'll just have to suffice with the warmth of C-D/Jax friendliness :-) Welcome to Jax!

(Oh, btw, if you like pizza (and even if you don't), watch for the upcoming thread about the next pizza party ... )

Yea, we are handling the cooler weather that is going on right now. Although, the temp (as of this posting) in Charlotte is 45 degrees and the temp here is 61.....will take 61 over 45 anytime!
Please do let us know about the next pizza party. Would like to meet the CD people that have helped us in our move here......you all were GREAT!!
